Virgo Kingston Zodiac Walk

Walking Virgo in The Kingston Zodiac – in Beddington

We are starting the first of the star sign walks, and this month is Virgo in the Kingston Zodiac.

Mary Caine discovered the terrestial Zodiac in the landscape centred around Kingston upon Thames. Virgo includes Carshalton, Sutton, Nonsuch Park and Beddington. This year will be walking Virgo in Beddington.

As we walk we will be connecting to the landscape with the intention of healing the Virgo energy both in ourselves and the land.

As well as being a wonderful healing and connection to the land, it is a personal journey for transformation.
We shall harness connections to the Earth spirit in the landscape to gain enlightenment and revelations/synchronicity.

At the start of each walk you will have the option to receive a smudging using North American white sage which will cleanse your energy. Sometimes we may use crystals, meditation or cards to support us on our way.

At various sites we bless and honour the spirit of place, its guardians and the ancestors who sought sanctuary here over many centuries.

Thursday 18th September 2014

11.45pm and will be setting off 12pm.

Virgo will be a 2 hour walk and we will go for tea/refreshments and chat for those that wish to stay on.

Walking The Guardian Dog of The Kingston Zodiac – in Chertsey

We are starting the walks of the Kingston Zodiac.
In a 12 month cycle there will be 13 walks in total. We start with the Guardian Dog which is the gateway and the honouring for entry in to the Zodiac. Mary Caine made known the terrestrial Zodiac in the landscape around Kingston upon Thames, where 7 Saxon Kings are commemorated by a coronation stone.

Kingston Zodiac Guardian Dog St Annes HillThe Guardian of the Zodiac is considered to be the Great Hound, in the Kingston Zodiac. So to begin the adventure and journey we must first approach the Kingston Zodiac by way of introduction to the Great Hound.

As well as being a wonderful healing and connection to the land, it is a personal journey for transformation.
We shall journey to harness connections to the Earth spirit in the landscape to gain enlightenment and (possibly) revelations/synchronicity.

Each walk will vary in length, however we start with a 2 hour walk into the dog energy on St Annes Hill, on:

Thursday 4th September 2014

We will meet in the car park of St Annes Hill.

12.45pm and will be setting off 1pm.

£10/walk

There are 2 wells which we will connect with and if anyone has drums you are welcome to bring them.

We will gather together at Chertsey, the site of Abbey founded by Royal Cousins St Erkenwald in 666 at the same time as Barking Monastery for his sister St Ethelburga. He later became Bishop of London after travelling to Rome.

We shall continue with a walk to St. Ann’s Hill and The Dingle, on the body of the landscape effigy of the Great Hound, passing Druidswood.
We are able to gain a vantage point to observe a vista of the River Thames close to where the first Abbey was built alongside its banks.

The intention is to become enriched and energised by the experience and in that process give back healing to the land and its occupants both natural and human.

Kingston Zodiac Dog ChertseyFor those that have time, afterwards you may wish to continue your walk onto Spellthorne St. Mary at Thorpe or visit Great Fosters which are both powerful energy centres in their own right.

At the end we will find a tea house for light refreshments and chat!

The walk will go ahead no matter what the weather conditions are, please dress in suitable attire, and bring a bottle of water as we are not always near shops or cafes.

At the start of each walk you will have the option to receive a smudging using North American white sage which will cleanse your energy. Sometimes we may use crystals, meditation or cards to support us on our way.

We have walked the Kingston Zodiac for 2 years and continue to find new connections as we move through to new levels of personal and planetary consciousness. There will be plenty of time to meet like minded people and connect with nature.

We look forward to you joining us on this Zodiac Adventure and healing walk, connecting with new friends and old acquaintances.

Kingston Zodiac Walk

Welcome to Kingston Zodiac Walks!
The Kingston Zodiac is a landscape discovered in the land by Mary Caine and similar to the Glastonbury Zodiac.
We will be doing the walks every month as near to the New Moon energy as possible to release old energies from ourselves to make way for the new energy and set intentions for the next moon cycle.
Each month we will visit the area of the land that relates to the new Astrology sign we are entering. We will start the 12 month cycle by visiting the Guardian Dog (Chertsey) which gives permission to enter the Zodiac, then during the next 12 months we will cover the following areas:

Guardian Dog (Chertsey)
Virgo (Nonsuch Park/Carshalton)
Libra (Kingston)
Scorpio (Wimbledon Common)
Sagittarius (Richmond Park)
Capricorn (Ealing/Gunnersbury Park)
Aquarius (Osterley Park)
Pisces (Cranford Park)
Aries (Whitton/Hounslow)
Taurus (Bushey Park/Kempton Park)
Gemini (Molesey)
Cancer (Walton on Thames)
